Chartering an aircraft enables a business to maximize its two most significant assets: time and people. Chartering makes travel faster, more convenient, thoroughly private, and offers more options and greater flexibility than airline travel. With control over almost all aspects of travel, no longer are your schedules dictated by commercial carriers. Changes in plans and destinations can even be made while in flight.
Time is the biggest value in chartering an aircraft, and as the old saying goes "time is money." No longer will you rush just to waste valuable time waiting to check in, around baggage carousels, and in boarding areas due to flight delays or cancellations. You choose the departure and arrival times to meet your needs. Imagine showing up at the airport, going directly to the aircraft and taking off. It's that simple. Important meetings won't be cut short to catch a return flight because your chartered aircraft will be waiting until you are ready to leave, and getting home quicker means more time for personal obligations.
Aside from the time savings, the time spent traveling can now be put to productive use. Consider the airplane to be an extension of the office, where in the privacy of the cabin you can prepare for meetings, have confidential conversations or relax without interruption.
Most people have heard of Learjets, but the number of different makes and types of aircraft seem to be endless. Just as there are many manufacturers of automobiles with numerous makes and models, so it is with aircraft. Each aircraft model is designed for a specific purpose. At one end of the spectrum are aircraft designed for short trips of less than an hour, while at the other end are aircraft capable of flying nonstop over 7,000 nautical miles, or approximately 14 hours. And there are a multitude of aircraft in-between. The objective is to provide the aircraft that will most efficiently meet the needs of the individual trip. Long trips are best served by aircraft that are designed to fly faster and at higher altitudes, while turboprops and light jets are most efficient for shorter trips. When looking at price, jets will cost considerably more per hour than turboprops, but keep in mind, they spend less time in flight due to their increased speed.
The three types of aircraft available for charter are Piston, Turbo-Prop, and Jet. Piston powered aircraft are the least expensive and are useful for very short trips with the faster models topping out at about 220 miles per hour.
Turbo-Props are turbine engine aircraft that are driven by propellers. With speeds ranging from 220-340 miles per hour, they are useful for trips of 2 to 4 hours, or a distance of 900 to 1,100 miles.
Due to the wide variety of jets available, turbo fan equipped aircraft are the most versatile. There are models designed for short and medium trips, while others are designed for long range trips with the capability to reach speeds over 600 miles per hour, and altitudes of 50,000 feet where they are most efficiently designed to operate.

An aircraft is one of many business tools utilized by companies and individuals throughout the world. Chartering empowers companies with capabilities to travel with little notice, and in an extremely time efficient manner. Being able to get to the customer, or get the customer to you in such an effortless manner has been a facilitator for the success of many businesses. Chartering is not just for executives, it's for anyone whose time is valuable and necessary for the success of any business. It enables managers to visit several locations in the course of a normal business day, and when problems arise on a work-site, skilled workers and equipment can be dispatched within a minimal amount of time and effort. Chartering offers more than the ability to move people, it enables businesses to move packages quickly and on short notice.
Many find that owning their own aircraft makes sense once they are flying non-airline aircraft near 300 hours a year. Less than that, most find it financially practical to charter an aircraft on an as needed basis. If the purchase of an aircraft is an option, Winner Aviation is ready to assist in the evaluation and purchasing process, and can even manage the aircraft if desired.
Though the most common use for chartering an aircraft is for business purposes, many aircraft are chartered for leisure or personal activities. Getting a group together to share an aircraft for a golf trip or sporting events, such as the Super Bowl or a Nascar race can be quite inexpensive compared to the airlines based on the number of people on the trip.
Scheduled air charters serve 580 airports in the United States, and a typical flight can consist of multiple connections and aircraft. Chartered aircraft have access to 5,400 airports and only stop at the ones you choose. This means we get you closer to your destination, and with most larger cities you will have a choice of airports. Should weather related diversions be a problem, we will still get you closer to your destination than an airline. Since chartered aircraft use the general aviation areas of the airport, this usually allows for vehicles to pick you up at the aircraft, and in a matter of minutes you can be on your way.
