Winner Aviation & OPCAT: Working to Promote Aviation Schools
Winner Aviation Corporation is currently working with OPCAT, Ohio Pennsylvania Centre for Aviation Technologies, owned by the Western Reserve Port Authority, to promote PIA and other aviation oriented schools, such as Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in order to provide a solid and well educated labor pool in the valley. We have held numerous aviation education days in the Youngstown Warren Regional Airport’s main terminal. For the education events, individuals from numerous fields of expertise, ranging from aircraft maintenance to control tower operations, come to share information and answer questions about their careers. This effort could help to attract airlines and aviation manufactures to the Youngstown Warren Regional Airport.
